Order Policy and Terms of Use


The Rational Dress Society accepts VISA, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
The charge for your monogarment will appear on your credit card or bank card statement under Elmidae Inc. Though this may seem slightly irrational, Elmidae Inc. is owned by RDS member Abigail.


All shipments will be sent via the United States Postal Service. The Rational Dress Society is unfortunately unable to ship to P.O. boxes as well as APO & FPO addresses.

International Orders:

We will happily ship orders outside of the United States. All shipments will be sent via the United States Postal Service. The Rational Dress Society is not responsible for any additional taxes, duties, or fees charged by customs or for any delays in the customs process.

Delivery & Tracking:

Once your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email, and we will begin to process
your order. After your order has been processed you will receive a USPS tracking number.
The Rational Dress Society ships JUMPSUIT orders on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Lost Merchandise:

All orders are shipped with insurance to cover loss or damage during shipment. This insurance does not cover packages stolen from front stairs or porches after USPS has delivered. If stolen packages are common where you live we would advise having your JUMPSUIT shipped to your work place or to an address where your package will be received by an individual. Returns and Exchanges:

You may return or exchange your JUMPSUIT within 30 days of receiving your garment. Your refund or exchange will not be processed until your original JUMPSUIT has been returned. Garments must be unworn and unwashed in order to be returned or exchanged. For returns, a refund will be issued to the credit card used for initial payment within 7 business days, once the garment has been received at our Chicago headquarters. For exchanges, once the garment has been returned, the new garment will be added to our cutting ticket. Please allow a few weeks to receive your new garment, as each JUMPSUIT is custom made.
